Web surfing between devices

As an IT guy who doesn't like to be tied to a single vendor/platform, I use a mix of computing devices every day, switching between PC/Mac/Android and iOS. One common scenario is that I was reading a web site on one device but I wanted to continue on another device (say, got a recommendation from FB on my Android phone and wanna blog about it on my Mac) In the past I had to use some sort of bookmarks, link saving or email to myself. Now I have a better way: the browser on my phone can create a QR code from the URL. Then I open webqr.com on my Mac's browser, show the camera the QR and hit scan. Bingo! Very handy, right?
